XRPL Fee Calculator – Estimate Your XRP Transaction Cost
This guide helps you understand and estimate your XRPL network fees before submitting transactions to the XRP Ledger. The base minimum is always 10 drops (0.00001 XRP), but load conditions can raise this temporarily.
Base Fee Reference Table
The table below shows approximate costs at various XRP price points for a standard transaction at the minimum 10-drop fee:
| XRP Price (USD) | Cost per Transaction | Transactions per $1.00 |
|---|---|---|
| $0.50 | $0.000005 | 200,000 |
| $1.00 | $0.00001 | 100,000 |
| $2.00 | $0.00002 | 50,000 |
| $5.00 | $0.00005 | 20,000 |
| $10.00 | $0.0001 | 10,000 |
It costs approximately $15.20 to execute one million transactions on the XRP Ledger — making it among the cheapest blockchain networks for high-volume use cases.

Load-Scaled Fee Estimation
During peak network congestion, each rippled server scales fees upward proportionally to its current load. The actual fee you pay may be 2x, 5x, or even 10x the base fee during extreme events. However, even 100x the base fee is still only 0.001 XRP — under a fraction of a cent at any realistic XRP price.
Multi-Signature Transactions
Multi-signature (multi-sign) transactions require a higher fee because they are larger in byte size. The minimum fee scales with the number of signers: each additional signer adds a multiple of the base fee to the total required. A transaction requiring 3 signers would need at least 40 drops instead of 10.
To get the most accurate current fee before submitting, use the fee API command on any rippled server — it reports real-time open-ledger requirements and load-based cost thresholds for the current moment.
